Visual Music Blog Author

The visualmusic blog was set up in 2005 by Maura McDonnell in order to bookmark websites, take a screen grab of a part of the website as a visual reference to the content, and have a record of  information on the web that was of interest to the topic of visual music.

Many individuals, groups, events organisers document their work on the web, this blog is intended to be a part of a capturing of that information in one place.
Maura lecture at Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland on the M.Phil in Music and Media Technologies Programme and has been teaching on the topics of visual music since 2002 .

Maura is pursuing a PhD on Visual Music as part of the Digital Arts and Humanities programme at Trinity College.  Maura is a practicing visual music artist and creates her own visual music works.
The blog is a space for information gathering but it is hoped that it also helps others who too are interested in what I can only call this 'beautiful' and 'intriguing' area of visual music.
